Rune of the Day: Isa

 

 

Today is a day of stasis, of nothing really changing.  This is not the day to start anything new, or to try to force things to go your way.  You may feel like you are stuck in tar for much of the day, with nothing happening.  Trying to make something happen is almost sure to just mire you in deeper, so just find a way to relax and wait for the path to clear.

Family issues may take the forefront today, you may be called upon to step in and help.  Try not to get so caught up in helping others that you neglect yourself.  Its easy to do, especially when those you love are struggling, but remember that you can't change them.  Give them your support and the help that you can, but don't let someone else's problem become your only focus.

 

The Two Together

 

Isa paired with the reversed King of Cups is telling us that sometimes no matter how much we want to help, we have to just step aside.  We can't always solve other people's problems, no matter how much we love them, or how much we want to.  When nothing we do seems to work, that's the Universe telling us its time to step aside and let others deal with the situation on their own.
