Rune of the Day: Ehwaz

Change is the keyword for today.  New attitudes, maybe the start of a new diet or exercise regimen, a new beginning in becoming the person that you want to be.  Whether it is a large change or a small one, know that it is just the beginning of a new you.  

Tarot Card of the Day: 6 of Cups

Often we look back on 'the good old days' as the ideal times of our lives, as the way we want them to be again.  Reminiscing is great, but if we are honest with ourselves, life was not perfect then, we are remembering things as we wish they were, not as they truly were.  Focus instead on making life what you want it to be, move ahead with confidence instead of looking back with longing. 

The Two Together

Both Ehwaz and the 6 of Cups refer to our attitudes.  They are both telling us it is time to move on, to let go of the old and embrace the new.   We can never really recapture the magic of the past as we remember it, so instead, let's focus on making the future something worth remembering.
