Communication is very important today, really listen to what others have to say.  Try to keep an open mind when listening; filtering what they say through what you expect, or want, to hear can give you the wrong message.  Be open to thoughts and ideas that don't fit your world-view; they are the truth for someone else.

 Sometimes we have to step away from the people and situations that are holding us back, no matter how painful that decision may be.  Right now you are clinging to the familiar even as you feel yourself sinking down.  The time to make a choice is fast approaching, something in your life is going to have to change no matter how little you want it to.

The Two Together

Ansuz paired with the reversed 8 of Cups is telling us to really listen to what those around us are saying.  No matter how much we want to cling to the familiar, the signs are there that things are changing.  Unfortunately, we're so busy holding onto what we have right now that we're not listening to the messages telling us to get out.  Open your mind, your heart, and your ears and really pay attention to what's going on around you.
