Some things are coming to an end in your life right now; things that you have known it was time to move on from for a while now. Although its rarely pleasant to let go of what has become comfortable, being flexible is key right now.  Don't bend so much that you do things you don't agree with, stick to your beliefs, but be willing to be a little flexible regarding what works for others.

You're sick of being stuck, of avoiding what makes you uncomfortable, so today you are taking the bull by the horns. You are facing your problems head-on, you're not running or hiding from them.  Only by dealing with the things and people that have been holding you back can you truly move forward in your life. 

The Two Together:

Both Eihwaz and the reversed 6 of Swords are telling us its time to change things in our lives.  To get rid of what is holding us back, or dragging us down, to confront our inner demons.  So many times its a fear of success, more than fear of failure that holds us back.  If we can find our true inner obstacles, and deal with them, what the world throws at us-piece of cake!
