Some people have been less than honest with you-but don't use that as an excuse to lose faith in people in general.  Most people truly are good even if you can't see it right now.  Betrayal always hurts, but don't let it drag you down into cynicism and hopelessness.

Remember that what other people think is never as important as what you think, especially of yourself.  You may follow your own path, the beat of a different drummer, but if that brings you happiness and fulfillment more power to you.  Stand firm for what you want out of life, and what makes you happy, don't let being a little bit different frighten you-in our differences lie our strengths.

Mannaz reversed paired with the Hanging Man is reminding us that everyone has done things they regret.  You can't let your regrets, or the fear of how others may perceive you rule your life.  Likewise, you can't judge all people based on the actions of a few.  Do what makes you happy, regardless of what others think-let them judge you on your merits, not your conformity.  Likewise, judge those you meet on their own merits, not on the past actions of others.
