Rune of the Day: Fehu (Reversed)

Fehu reversed is a rune of financial insecurity and setbacks, of waste, bad spending habits and of abusing your resources.  This rune shows up when you are thinking of going on an unnecessary spending spree, or possibly considering a get rich quick scheme or other bad investment. 

When reversed this rune is a caution to not be wasteful with what you have.  There is no need to scrimp, by all means buy what you need to, just don't go overboard, save some of your money for what you may need next week. 

Keep a balance with your assets, be careful of your spending and of any opportunities that may come your way today.  If they seem too good to be true, they not only probably are, but with Fehu reversed, they most definitely are. 

Tarot Card of the Day: 4 Wands

The 4 of Staffs, or Wands, is a card of rest after hard work, newly gained prosperity, accomplishment.

When this card appears for you, you can be assured that you will achieve your goals and be able to take a bit of a break very soon.  As Staffs usually deal with career, or school, or some kind of regular commitment, this card usually signifies that you have completed the first stage, or stages, of your growth.  Workwise, this could mean a raise or promotion; academically, the successful completion of a term or a particularly difficult class.

Take some time, enjoy your accomplishment and/or reward.  Then begin planning or working on your next goal, lesson, term, whatever it is that you devote your time to.  This is after all, only a temporary respite, not an indication of complete success.  That will require a lot more work! 




The Two Together 

Fehu reversed paired with the 4 of Staffs is cautioning you not to get too comfortable.  Things might be going well right now, but don't count on things always being like this.  Today is a great day to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labors.  Fehu being reversed is just reminding you that if you don't continue with your labors, those fruits will soon be gone.  

Take a well earned break right now, but know that you must be back nose to the grindstone soon, if you want these rewards and accomplishments to continue coming your way.
