Rune of the Day: Hagall

Today is a day of unpleasant surprises, of things beyond your control interrupting your well-laid plans.  Sometimes a major shock is needed to shake things up in your life, to teach you a lesson that you have been avoiding.  Keep an open mind: try to learn from any setbacks that happen today.  Very often, if we learn what we need to, the short term discomfort of Hagall is followed by long lasting rewards. 

Tarot Card of the Day: The Fool Reversed 

Expect difficulty making decisions today, hesitation seems to be the keyword of the day.  Sometimes we just don't have the energy to care where we're headed, and today feels like this might be the case.  Don't make hasty decisions today, wait until you have a more positive outlook, then make a choice in which direction to head. 

The Two Together  

The Fool reversed paired with Hagall is indicating a sense of giving up, of being frozen by indecision.  The setbacks of Hagall are not meant to put us in stasis, but to teach us a lesson we haven't learned by easier means.  Taking the time to learn the underlying lesson will show us our path and help us break the apathy that we are feeling.
