Rune of the Day: Ing
Ing is a rune of sexual energy, of fruition and fertility, of tension and uncertainty released. This rune is all about releasing your energy in a creative way.
What is created is up to us: a new relationship or a work of art; or the energy may be channeled in a more concrete, but no less creative way: construction, cooking, redecorating or remodeling.
Ing is not concerned with what we create: a baby or a sculpture, a new patio or an apple pie; just so long as our energy is spent creating and/or constructing something. After all, creativity is one of our strongest connections to the Divine.
Tarot Card of the Day:3 of Swords (Reversed)
The 3 of Swords reversed is a card of distraction and confusion, of mistakes and anxiety.
This card often appears when we don't know which course of action to take, or when we know that something in our lives needs to change, but we don't know what.
Tread carefully when the 3 of Swords reversed appears. It is easy to make bad decisions with this confused energy around. If at all possible, put off doing anything for a day or two, until you feel more clear in your heart.
The Two Together
Both Ing and the reversed 3 of Swords are about energy. Ing speaks of releasing energy and the 3 of Swords speaks of a confused energy leading to bad decisions.
Taking the 2 together, don't jump into anything big today. If you're restless, feel like something is missing, try channeling that energy into something creative. Paint, draw, write, find a way to express yourself.
The more clearly we can express ourselves, even if only to ourselves, the more clearly we can see the big picture of life and what is truly affecting us.
Blessings!
