Rune of the Day: Sigel

Sigel is a rune of good fortune, of success and vitality, of enlightenment, of warmth and wholeness. 

This is a rune of completion, of having found a sense of inner peace and belonging. 

Sigel appears when things will be going well, when one is on a roll so to speak.  When Sigel appears, even things that don't go according to plan present new opportunities, often ones that are better than that which didn't work out.  

Enjoy the good time that Sigel indicates, appreciate what you have, and share a little of your joy, knowing that we are all interconnected.  


Tarot Card of the Day: 9 of Pentacles 

The 9 of Pentacles is a card of accomplishment, of prudence, of discretion and material well being. 

This card always makes me think of "old money" the people who have money but are not ostentatious or showy with it; those that live well, but quietly.

That's what this card indicates for today, financially things will be going decently.  There will be enough money to take care of the essentials, to do what has to be done, but not enough to splurge. 

Need a new coat for winter, or new tires for the car, go ahead, buy what you need.  Just remember that you don't need the most expensive coat and tires for sale, just the ones that are of good quality.  With the 9 of Pentacles in your corner, you can afford it!

The Two Together:


Both Sigel and the 9 of Pentacles indicate things going well; with the influence of the 9 of Pentacles, it is most likely that they both refer, at least tangentially, to finances. 

Just remember that things change as time goes on, and that we really do attract what we put out.  So take your cue for today from the 9 of Pentacles, enjoy-don't overdo.
