In today's instant gratification world we often forget that many things in life take time to complete. This rune shows up when we need a reminder of that. Impatience is so common today that we often must be reminded that some truly good things in life take time. Trying to force results before they have been earned will only result in frustration and failure.
Whether it is a crash diet or a get rich quick scheme, going for instant results almost always ends up in you being worse off than you were to start with. So heed Jera and remember that patience is essential in most truly important things.

The Two Together
Jera paired with the King of Swords is telling us that it is time to do something. We can't just sit around waiting and hoping that things will change for us.
We have to decide what we want out of life and to go for it. We will eventually reach our goals, it will take time, but we will get there.
However, before that happens we have to take the first steps, and keep working towards them. We won't reach our goals overnight, but we will reach them!
