Rune of the Day OTHALA REVERSED

Othala reversed is a rune of jealousy, greed, of rootlessness and being unfulfilled, of illusions without substance.

It's very important to stay grounded today, to be aware of your place in the world.  This is one of those days when it’s easy to get caught up in the drama that is always happening around us.

Although other people's lives may look better than yours, remember that they have their own problems-almost always ones that you would never want for yourself.

Focus on the good in your life, and this feeling of dissatisfaction will be gone very soon.

Tarot Card of the Day:  QUEEN OF WANDS REVERSED

The Queen of Wands reversed is a card of selfishness, of holding others back for one’s own gain, of discouragement.

Today may feel like everyone and everything is against you.  Just keep in mind that we can’t change people or events, we only have control over how we react to them. There will always be obstacles in our lives; personally I try to think of them as learning opportunities-doesn’t always work, but I try! LOL

Today it’s all about our perspective, how we view things.  Life is always easier if we try to understand and work with others rather than fighting them.  That’s what we need to focus on today, reaching out to others and working with them, overcoming the roadblocks, not giving in to them.

 The Two Together: 

Today is just one of those days where it feels like nothing is going right, even if nothing is going wrong.  There is a sense of being disconnected today, of being put-upon almost.  

All we can do with days like this is ride them out, try to look for the positive around us.  Often, if we can change our perspective, we can change our mood and that changes the way our day goes.
