Rune of the Day: SIGEL

Sigel is a rune of success, of enlightenment, of wholeness, of things coming together.  

Today is a day to relax and enjoy life, to really appreciate all that we have, and all that is coming our way.  Enjoy the progress you have made in life, the ways that you have bettered yourself.

You'll find as you look back on the changes you've made in your life, that more changes are on the horizon, but that there is no hurry.  Everything happens in its own time, and sometimes we get to just relax and appreciate how far we have come.  Today is one of those days.

Tarot Card of the Day: 5 of Wands

The 5 of Wands is a card of conflict, obstacles, and struggle. 

Most of the time it's necessary to listen to others and to compromise.  Sometimes, though, we just get so caught up in our vision of something that we don't take the time to listen to others.  This is where a lot of conflict comes from. 

Try to take the time today to see things from another's point of view.  Taking this time, and giving them the consideration of at least hearing them out can avoid a lot of conflict today.  We all need to remember that things don't always have to be done our way; sometime other people do have ideas that can improve our own vision. 

The Two Together 

Sigil paired with the 5 of Wands emphasizes the need for cooperation.  Things are going well for us, but all progress is a struggle, all growth comes from some form of conflict, either our own or someone else's. 

We need to understand that conflict, both inner and outer is a part of life, and something to be learned from.  We will not always agree with each other, but we can learn from each other, and often create something better than either of us originally planned if we work together.
