Thursday, January 9th FEHU REVERSED

Fehu reversed is a rune of loss, of abusing resources, of being a spendthrift, of bad spending habits. Today might just be the day you start to receive all the bills from the holidays! lol

Reversed this is a rune of warning, that we need to take a look at our spending, and our behavior in general, and make sure that we are being prudent.

It's easy to take what we have for granted, to not truly care for our well-being and for the people in our lives, Fehu reversed reminds us that this can be a mistake.

Tarot Card of the Day: 10 of Pentacles Reversed

The 10 of Pentacles is a card of fleeting wealth, of ignoring or walking away from one's heritage.

Remember that there are many kinds of wealth, financial, spiritual, a wealth of blessings or friends.  We also all have a wealth of heritage, of history from our ancestors.
All families, all ethnicities, all races have their good and their bad throughout history.  There is a lot to be learned from our heritage, both good and bad.  Although it may be tempting to walk away from a bad situation in your family, do not let that put you off of your entire heritage.

Take some time today to learn about your ancestors, both of your family and of your ethnicity in general.  You will be surprised how much there is that you can learn from and that will inspire you.

The Two Together
Both Fehu reversed and the 10 of Pentacles reversed speak of setbacks, usually financial, but also in the area of our families, our history.
Today we should use caution, not be too quick to spend money that may not be available tomorrow.   Finances vary for almost everyone, today is likely to be one of the down times.
We also need to keep in mind that things change in our families too: sometimes things go well, and we feel blessed with our home life; sometimes they are stressful, and we can occasionally dread the thought of going home.
Just keep in mind that most setbacks are temporary.  We can always make more money given some time: but when it comes to family, its harder to bounce back from some hurts.  Sometimes it's necessary to distance ourselves from family if they keep dragging us down-it's important to keep in touch with your roots in general though.  Where we come from is always important, even if we must avoid some of the people from the same place.
