Rune of the Day: Ehwaz

 

 

Today is all about changes, big ones, little ones, fat ones, skinny ones, even ones with chicken pox. LOL  (If you are old enough you may remember the song where that came from.)  Ehwaz is about making progress, about changing your life and/or yourself.  Take some concrete steps towards change today, or at least set some concrete goals.  You'll be glad you did.

 

Tarot Card of the Day: 2 of Swords

 

 

You've been putting off making a decision-your heart says one thing and your head says another.   You keep hoping they will find a way to meet in the middle, but that only happens when you take action.  You have to make a decision, if not today, then very soon.  At least decide which way you are leaning and start taking steps towards that outcome.  Remaining in stasis will not solve anything.

 

The Two Together

 

Ehwaz paired with the 2 of Swords is telling us its time to make and act on a decision that we've been putting off.  Maybe we've been second guessing ourselves, or just not sure of what direction to go in.  Today is the day to pick a direction, to choose a side, to make a new start at whatever we've been letting hold us back.  We only grow through motion, sometimes we go the wrong way, but even that helps us learn.  Better to try and lose than never to take a chance.
