We can never
recapture what used to be, not in life, or in relationships. The
trick to reconnecting with old friends (or lovers) is to understand
that the relationship will be different than it was. This doesn't
mean not as good, it simply means different. Knowing that makes it
much more likely that you'll still be able to have a good
relationship with old friends.
