There are some times in life that we simply cannot win, no matter what we do we can't make things better. It can be very difficult to admit this, to walk away from a situation, or a person, that we just haven't been able to help. It may be time to hand the situation over to the Universe, to accept that there may be a lesson here that we are not meant to change.
The Two Together
Gifu paired with the reversed Hanged Man is telling us to remember that partnerships are supposed to be equal amounts of give and take. We need to walk away from those relationships that are too one-sided. Any relationship that is more give than take is eventually going to drain us; by its very nature it is not helping us grow, but holding us back.
