Rune of the Day: Thurisaz
Take time today to reflect on what is really important in
life and where you want to go. We cannot change the past so we need to make
peace with it and then let it go. Only by looking at the whole picture of our
lives, letting go of the past, and moving on to focus on the present can we
find true peace.
Tarot Card of the Day: Knight of Pentacles Reversed
It sometimes feels like we are so busy keeping up with
things, or even playing catch up, that we have no extra time. We don’t see a way
out of the whirlwind of our daily lives, a way to step back and just have time
for us. Remember that you don’t have to do everything yourself, it’s okay to
delegate things, and even to say no once in a while.
The Two Together
Thurisaz paired with the reversed Knight of Pentacles is
telling us that it is time to step back from our daily responsibilities and
spend some time on ourselves. We may be taking on too much in an attempt to
atone for past wrongs, real or imagined. Only by making peace with our past can
we stop trying to compensate for it. Just remember, whatever you did in the
past was the best you were capable of in that particular moment. The key to
moving on is being able to do better in the present than we did in the past.
