Rune of the Day: Ansuz Reversed
Sometimes we get so caught up in our own thoughts that we
don’t see the things right in front of us. Sometimes these are practically big
warning signs saying ‘slow down’ or ‘caution’. Try to get out of your mind
today, take a look at things clearly and hear what others are saying. Try to
see a situation from different points of view. Often, just looking at a
situation differently can make things much more clear.
Tarot Card of the Day: 7 of Pentacles
Take stock of things in your life today, and make sure
that what you are working towards is really worth the time and cost to achieve
it. We often get so caught up in reaching a goal that we don’t realize how much
effort it is taking to get there. Slow down a bit and make sure that the reward
you want merits the resources it’s taking to get there.
The Two Together
Ansuz reversed paired with the 7 of Pentacles is telling
us that we are so caught up in our own perspective that we are not getting a
true picture of things. We’re filtering everything through our own thoughts and
beliefs and not being objective. We need to take a step back and look at our
life clearly, with as little emotion as possible. This will show us a much
clearer path, and may even give us a new destination.
