Rune of the Day: Hagall
Things are changing today, and though the changes themselves may be
painful, they are also liberating. The
changes happening in our lives right now are paving the way for our continued
growth, and perhaps settling some karmic debts at the same time. Remember that these changes are not in our
control, they are not anything we could have prevented, they have to be made.

Reversed
It's wonderful to help others, but not when we are doing so much of it that
we are neglecting ourselves, or when we are being taken advantage of by
those who are willing to abuse our good nature.
We enjoy helping those people we care about but right now we have to be
able to say no; it may not be easy but if these people truly care about us,
they will understand.
The Two Together
Hagall paired with the reversed King of Cups is telling us that there are
some big changes coming in some of our relationships with friends and family.
We will have to start putting ourselves first, as opposed to worrying so much
about others. This may be their lesson as much as ours, it might just be time
for those people we are always propping up to learn to stand on their own.
