Rune of the Day: Kenaz
This is a good time to make some new beginnings, even small ones. Take up a
new hobby or learn more about something you’ve always been interested in.
Everything we learn helps us to grow, even if it’s just stats for our favorite
sports star, or more about the new movie we want to see.
Tarot Card of the Day: 4 of Swords
Make sure you take some time for yourself, some time to relax and just
enjoy life. We all are so busy, and have so much going on that we often forget
how important down time can be. It’s especially important to take time now, when
there is so much extra going on with the holidays. It’s actually easy to wear
yourself out just keeping up with all the social activities right now, so take
a night and just relax.
The Two Together
Kenaz and the 4 of Swords are both telling us that we need to take some
time to do something for ourselves, to focus on what we want to do, what we
enjoy, not on what we are obligated to do. Taking time to create something, to
learn a new hobby, or to focus on an old one, can be very calming and help us
to recharge.
