Rune of the Day: RAIDHO REVERSED

Raidho reversed is a rune of delays, of missed communications, of inconvenience.

Flexibility is key today, misunderstandings happen, and overreacting to them just makes things worse.  This rune is a warning that we must say exactly what we mean today, and be sure that we understand what others mean, not just what they say.

All too often we put our own spin on what others say, and this leads to confusion.  So for today, keep it simple and clear, and try to roll with it if others are sometimes confusing.

Tarot Card of the Day: Queen of Staffs

The Queen of Staffs is a card of sympathy and understanding, of practicality, and sincere interest in others. 

Often this card represents either a person in our life, or someone who soon will be in our life.  This is someone who instinctively makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable.   

Take the time today to reach out to others, be the one who is there for them.  Sometimes just being someone else's sounding board can open up new horizons for us. 

The Two Together:
 Raidho reversed with its energy of missed communication and of inconvenience and the Queen of Staffs and her sympathetic, helpful energy are at first glance quite opposite each other. 

However, using the two energies together greatly lessens the impact of reversed Raidho.  Taking the time to truly listen and understand what others tell us greatly reduces or eliminates the missed signals and confusion signified by the rune.
