Mannaz reversed is a rune of treachery, of deception and shallowness, of cynicism and hopelessness.

Many things in life, and many people are not what they seem-we all know this.  Today, those people will be pretty much right in your face.  The key is how you react to them.  You can't change other people; you can only change your reaction to them. 

Strive for understanding today; forgiveness isn't necessary, but should never be ruled out as an option.  Try to look at the situation from the other person's perspective, and then do what is most soothing to your soul.  You might be surprised to find out that a little understanding goes a long way to keeping peace in your heart.

The High Priestess Reversed is a card of hidden knowledge, of people keeping secrets.

Use caution today when relying on information other people have given you, especially people you don't know well.  This information may not be complete, some things may have been held back.  Often people use deception to protect  themselves, not because they are trying to hurt anyone else.  

It's always best to double check facts, and today that is especially true.  Make sure you have all the information you need before making any decisions today, and that the information is accurate.

The Two Together: 

Mannaz and the High Priestess both reversed, are warning us to use common sense today, to be on our guard with regard to what other people tell us. 

We can never really know what another person has been through, and why they make the choices they make, but that doesn't mean we have to let others take advantage of us or use us. 

Be careful when dealing with people today, especially those not familiar to you.  A bit of caution now can save a lot of aggravation in the long run
