Tarot Card of the Day: 4 of Swords

The 4 of Swords is a card of well-deserved rest, of respite from troubles.

Today should be a pretty easy day, without a lot of drama or conflict.  A day to just kind of take it easy and recharge one's batteries.  Whatever problems one has been dealing with recently, just aren't as pressing today. 

Enjoy today, rest, do something fun for yourself and your loved ones.  Although we will always have problems in this life, it is how we learn what the Universe wants us to learn, today is for us!

The Two Together:

Mannaz and the 4 of Swords together give us almost a perfect storm of good energy.  Mannaz helps us to make progress, to work on transforming ourselves, while the 4 of Swords is telling us that for right now, our troubles will stay away. 

This gives us extra time and energy to focus on ourselves, and the changes we want to make to better ourselves.    This would be a great day to do some extra work on any New Year's resolutions that might have been made!
