Lagaz reversed is a rune of fear, overthinking, of denying or ignoring one's intuition.

Often this rune indicates a lack of forward motion, a lack of growth, because of fear of making a mistake.  What we have to remember is that mistakes can lead to growth also: it's almost always better to do something than to stay still and let life pass us by, especially out of fear.

Stop second guessing yourself, listen to your intuition and make a decision.  Even if it's the wrong one, at least you have tried, and that is what's important today.

The 8 of Cups is all about knowing when to walk away, when to say enough.

We all have some people in our lives that never change, no matter how many chances they get they keep making the same mistakes over and over again.  They know the damage they do, they may very well want to change, but they just can’t.

Today is the day to make a decision.  It is time to either let this person go, to say “Enough I won’t deal with this anymore”, or to accept that the good things about this person/relationship is worth the pain it brings you.  It’s always hard to let go of someone you care about, but letting that person continually hurt you is much harder.  Sometimes it really is best to just walk away.
