Rune of the Day: Eolh (Reversed)

Eolh reversed is a rune of failure leading to new opportunities, of pointless sacrifice and of ill health.  This rune generally appears as a warning that things will not be going as well as hoped.

It is important, as always, to keep an open mind when things go awry.  Often we are paying a karmic debt or learning a karmic lesson.  Failing to look at the big picture only ensures that the lesson must be taught again, and almost definitely in an even harsher manner.

Tarot Card of the Day: 5 of Pentacles (Reversed)

The 5 of Pentacles reversed indicates almost a reversal of fortune, a turn around in one's attitude leading to better things.

This is the card of someone who is bouncing back, someone no longer focusing on what is wrong, but instead focusing on fixing what is wrong.  This card often represents someone who is taking charge of their life, rather than just enduring it.

When the reversed 5 of Pentacles shows up its a clear indication that that things will be changing for the better, starting with one's attitude.  Appreciating one's blessings, making plans to change the things holding one down, that is what this card is all about.

The Two Together

Eolh reversed and the 5 of Pentacles reversed are both saying it is time to stop focusing on what is wrong in life and to begin changing that.

These both indicate a time of failure, of things going badly.  The key thing, what both of them are indicating its time to do, is to look beyond the failure, beyond what is wrong, and to see the possibilities and blessings in our lives right now.

By focusing on the positive, instead of dwelling on the negative, we can make changes that better not just ourselves, but those around us.   Its all about attitude and keeping one's positive and open to new possibilities.  Even if they come disguised as setbacks.

Blessings!
